Yes - raccoons, squirrels, birds, and wasps are the main four. Standard scope: live removal where possible, sweep and sanitize the affected flue and firebox, then install a properly screened cap to block re-entry. We don't work active wasp colonies until they're treated.

Off-season creosote smell usually means humid air is hitting buildup inside the flue and releasing odor down through the damper. The fix is a thorough sweep, a flue deodorizer, and a top-sealing damper. Pooler homes get this call regularly in humid shoulder season.

Stop using the fireplace and call us. A gas smell points to an incomplete burn or a fitting leak - either is a safety issue. We inspect the burner, pilot, gas valve, vent path, and the chimney for downdraft, and hand off to the gas company if the leak is on the utility side of the meter.

Same-day and next-day is our default for most inspections and sweeps. Peak burn-season weeks (late October through January) book up fastest, so book early when you can. Message us your Pooler address and we'll give you the earliest realistic window.
